Watchmen director Zack Snyder has revealed that deep fan-boy details that were left out of the movie WILL appear in the DVD.
Fans of the Watchmen comic were gutted when the entire Black Freighter comic book sub-plot was chopped from the film to keep it to length.
But they're now celebrating that the pirate story that mirrors the events in the Watchmen world will now appear in CGI form on the DVD spliced into the movie.
The revelation came in an exclusive one to one interview with Sky Movies that you can see below.
Snyder also revealed that the film is littered with easter eggs - just like the comic book.
Watchmen, in UK cinemas and IMAX from March 6th 2009
