Number one...but how? It's an underwhelming tale of a dull Hellenic girl who ends up marrying her handsome (non-Greek) prince in a movie that's more a Greek tragedy than a triumph. When drab-turned-delectable Toulah (Nia Vardalos) ties the knot with handsome teacher Ian (John Corbett) it's - as tradition has it - the happiest day of her life. Unfortunately, for the rest of us it's not all champagne and roses but huge sighs of relief that she's got it over with and we can get back to what we were doing. Inexplicably a hit in America, this is a lame culture clash comedy that does little more than follow Toulah's uneventful romance from start to finish.
