2 of 10It's a surprise to find that, despite six May releases, a Star Wars movie isn’t at the top of this particularly money tree. It’s even more surprising that the one that made it to second is possibly the worst of the lot – however the combination of Jar-Jar Binks and Darth Vader shouting ‘yipee’ made sure neither of the remaining ‘prequels’ stood a chance. At least Lucas can console himself with the fact that The Phantom Menace squeezed $431m out of the unsuspecting fans.
