He'd seen Jonathan Edwards on the TV ads, but Bale was still unsure about the safety of corrective eye surgery. Directing 'genius' McG has released new footage from Terminator: Salvation. The movie is the fourth in the series, and promises to be the bleakest of the lot - despite the family-friendly PG-13 rating just granted in the States. 

So first off, we have a 4-minute sneak-peek of Terminator: Salvation in which John Connor gives the low-down on where the story is and what he's up against. Apparenlty his voice is still stuck ni Batman-mode, and he's more serious than ever,

We also get a good look at the robots, and the character Marcus, who adds a whole new dimenstion to proceedings.

And below that we have a whole host of new images from the movie, featuring those pesky humanoid Terminators and a collection of not-so-fancy killing machines. Not to mention Bryce Dallas Howard looking very pregnant...

The movie is released on June 3rd.
