Ventress victorious! Argyus and Gunray race away in a Republic frigate, Ventress' detonators having disabled Tranquility's shields, and are soon joined by Dooku's apprentice. Argyus, unthinkingly attributing the mission's success to himself, is run through by Ventress' lightsaber. Aboard Tranquility Unduli and Ahsoka confer with Anakin and Yoda via hologram. Unduli states that the Republic frigate Gunray escaped in can be tracked, and General Kit Fisto's fleet is in a prime location to pursue. The race is on!
