It's norse by norsewest for adventure in a spirited romp charting Thor's quest to find his fabled hammer. But, before hammer time the legendary God-in-waiting must contend with his own impetuous nature, a treacherous supposed brother-in-arms, and werewolves... rabid werewolves.
With fang-in-jowl and harrumphing aplenty, this is a swift, cheeky 82 minutes of fun, kept moving along by the director of the enjoyably silly "snakes on a plain" frightener Copperhead.
No rattlers here, but plenty of shaggy dogs hungry for barbecue Scandinavian style. The highlight is two Viking ladies (accuracy be damned) catfighting a hot werewolf chick (thankfully in human form). Woof woof indeed...

It's vikings vs. werewolves in this romping action flick. Imagine Underworld meets Pathfinder with a dash of Outlander thrown in, and then sit back and enjoy the silliness. Good old-fashioned swordplay rubs shoulders with wirework derring do, but the main hook here is Vikings... versus... werewolves. With physical embodiments of Norse Gods clashing with foaming lycanthropes, it's not just the main character that will feel a little... "thor". Great, demented fun for the viking warrior in all of us.
