The Unborn 02

A young girl (Cloverfield's Odette Yustman) keeps seeing terrifying visions of a wan-faced young boy. Digging deeper into the mystery, she enlists the help of Gary Oldman's Jewish exorcist to discover that she's being stalked by a "dybbuk", a restless evil spirit seeking entry to the real world. Dark Knight writer and Blade Trinity director David S. Goyer forges a genuine jump-a-minute supernatural horror which manages to take in Kabbalah, cockroach-infested eggs and tetragametic chimerism (look it up).

Review

Young teenager Casey (Yustman) lives with her dad in an idyllic Chicagoan suburb since the suicide of her mother when she was a child.

Jogging along one day she feels she's being watched...and turns around to see a deathly nipper literally giving her evils.

The troubled teen figures out that she had a twin who died in childbirth,  She also works out that she's being stalked by a "dybbuk", a malicious spirit from Kabbalah folklore.

Goyer piles on the jump-start shocks like there's no tomorrow... and for most of the cast there isn't!
