A peculiar story that takes us from Dublin to the Arctic Circle. Taunted by his peers, stick-to-nothing teenager Finbar (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) climbs to the top of a flyover - and disappears. After three years in which the vanished Finbar has been celebrated in legend and song, his pal Danny (Luke Griffin) gets a call from him in Sweden. Trudging out there, Danny pursues Finbar to the Swedish-Finnish border - and finds his own destiny. He ends up neatly, if rather obviously, in the Finn Bar and falls into unlikely lust with a local beauty (Fanny Risberg) whose previous lover has deserted her... Teenage girls will want to see this for future heartthrobs Rhys Meyers and Griffin, but there are too many longueurs in the telling of a tale which doesn't contain enough detail to sustain our interest.
