Big Arnold Schwarzenegger ignores the advice about never acting with children or animals in this artful concoction of a fistful of the elements most likely to make a box-office hit. How can you maximise Arnie's muscular, awkward appeal? Put him, like a fish out of water, into a crowd of screaming, uncontrollable, pre-school kids. Great! Naturally, there's some action to go with this, as Arnie has to go undercover as a teacherto track down the son of a drugs dealer. Did we mention animals? Ah yes, our hero has a pet ferret, which helps him win over the kids after a nightmare first day in which he wishes he hadn't left his gun at home!

Ivan Reitman's cute comedy brings Arnold Schwarzenegger down to size as a detective who goes undercover in a playschool to expose the kid of a druglord. After tackling the vilest villains in the universe, it's a hoot to see Arnie finally meet his match in a classful of little cherubs. Penelope Ann Miller is the real schoolmiss who teaches him the ropes. The elementary level jokes make for pants-peeing fun.
