Cat burglar Hudson Hawke (Bruce Willis) is determined to go straight...until a gang of OTT villains attempts to recruit him to carry off a series of elaborate art thefts. Fast-moving and glossy, this sees action man Bruce on wisecracking form. James Coburn and Andie McDowell are along for the ride.

Review

Wisecracking Hudson Hawk (Bruce Willis) is a cool cat burglar trying to go straight. But some incredibly over-the-top villains are insisting on his crooked help. And so begins a whole series of Keystone Kops-style slapstick adventures, in which Hawk brings off a string of daring art heists that bring back memories of How to Steal a Million, Topkapi and Gambit. This one isn't half as well written as any of those, but fast-moving (if completely incoherent) with a few of the Willis wisecracks coming off here and there. Willis places his tongue rather too obviously in his cheek and the result is glossy but irritatingly overblown entertainment.
