Thriller specialist Brian De Palma puts John Travolta in nerve-jangling suspense as a movie sound man who unwittingly records a murder. The conspiracy plot involving a high-ranking politician and Nancy Allen's prostitute whistles along so fast, you won't believe your ears.

Review

John Travolta plays a movie sound recordist who tapes a car crash on a bridge and finds its tyre blowout was really a gunshot. Nancy Allen is the prostitute Travolta rescues from the wreck that kills a top politician. Director Brian De Palma's cheeky homage to Hitchcock's work and films like Blow-Up and The Conversation is playful, clever and exciting. One of Quentin Tarantino's favourites, and the reason he cast Travolta in Pulp Fiction.
