This second crime caper for Eddie

Murphy's Axel Foley keeps up the standard set by the first, providing fast and furious entertainment.

Although Murphy's fast talking steals most of the big laughs, Judge Reinhold, as his seemingly-gentle sidekick who proves to have developed a Rambo complex, also makes the most of his opportunities.

Villainess Brigitte Nielsen memorably orders her victims to 'Eat the floor! ' in one of the many inventive lines.
