It's not good to talk when Seattle college professor and FBI forensic psychiatrist Dr Jack Gramm (Al Pacino) receives a death threat on his mobile phone telling him that he has only 88 minutes to live. Ransacking his memory for those who may have a grudge against him - a disgruntled student, a jilted ex-lover and a death row serial killer - the increasingly paranoid shrink has to act fast if he is to beat his deadline. Literally.

Review

Fans of Pacino and unclad lovelies like Alicia Witt are well-served by this hectic, helter-skelter thriller.

Panning out like Joel Schumacher's Phone Booth but slightly less claustrophobic, it finds Pacino at full, mad-haired tilt as the hapless shmo whose obviously upset someone but can't for the life of him think who it might be.

But he'd better work it out quickly because the life is about to go out of him in 88 minutes. Leelee Sobieski and Al's Heat co-star Amy Brenneman add a strong female factor.
