Last Chance Harvey 12"Is that a Sky remote in your pocket...."

Remember, remember, the films in November. We've got a British flavour for the early autumn line-up with Emma Thomson playing an airport worker who falls for American jingle writer Dustin Hoffman in the romantic comedy Last Chance Harvey.

In Awaydays, a cracking British New Wave soundtrack plays alongside brawling hoolies in this  Merseyside makeover of the staple football yob yarn. Art school drop-out Carty (Nicky Bell) hooks up with thoughtful Scouse thug Elvis at a Bunnymen gig and is drawn to The Pack, a rabid gang of terrace warriors.

Scottish-set drama New Town Killers  sees a pair of loathsome private bankers get their kicks paying penniless chavs to act as prey in a warped hunting game.

The wham-bam fuel-injected actioner Fast & Furious reunites The Fast And The Furious stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, as ace car thief and dogged detective.  But, when a common enemy wrongs them both, they must team-up and put their pedal to the metal for justice.  Adrenalin junkies won't be disappointed!

For horror fans Trick 'R Treat is an absolute gem that undeservedly went straight to DVD, but is a cult classic in the making.  An anthology horror piece with a nod to Stephen King, it stars True Blood's Anna Paquin and the original Hannibal Lecter Brian Cox, and receives a seal of approval from producer Bryan Singer - director of X-Men, The Usual Suspects and Valkyrie.

Another director doing the producing honours is Quentin Tarantino, who lends his name to Hell Ride, a wild, rough and ready biker movie with Vinnie Jones, David Carradine, and Reservoir Dogs' Mr Blonde himself, Michael Madsen.

What could be the finishing touch to such a stellar line-up?  How about a new Bring It On movie? Continuing the phenomenally successful series of cheerleader films, Bring It On: Fight To The Finish does indeed bring on the rivalries, the laughs, and the superbly choreographed dancing.  Bring it on indeed!

And don't forget we still have Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Race To Witch Mountain, one of 2009's very best family films, plus bubble-gum martial arts mayhem in Dragonball Evolution.

We also wave goodbye to some great films this week, including runaway audience favourites Watchmen and Knowing.  Click here for more details, but don't forget you can still watch them on Sky Player

To rent any of these movies press the Sky Box Office button on your Sky remote control, or to watch online go to Sky Player and click on Sky Box Office and Sky Box Office World in the left hand bar.
