Dynamic duo John C Reilly and Will Ferrell don't see eye to eye in Step BrothersNever will the phrase "doubled up" be more appropriate on Sky Movies Comedy than during the DYNAMIC DUOS season in November. For a whole week, the biggest names in comedy will be appearing next to each other and exchanging back-and-forth banter in a bonanza of back-to-back double acts.

Established pairings include rock monsters Wayne and Garth, Bad Boys Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, Talladega Nights pair Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, reuniting for more adolescent antics in Step Brothers, and stoners Harold and Kumar on a second high after escaping from Guantanamo Bay.

Eddie Murphy can do the comic two-step with just about anyone, but his partnerships with Bowfinger's Steve Martin and Dan Aykroyd in Trading Places would win any round of Strictly Comedy Dancing.

Then there are those wonderful casting mismatches that shouldn't work but do, like Murphy and Nick Nolte in 48 Hrs and Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in Meet The Parents. De Niro also stars with Charles Grodin in Midnight Run, one of the greatest odd-couple team-ups of all time.

Elsewhere, Simon Pegg does the double with himself in Run, Fat Boy, Run and How To Lose Friends And Alienate People while Ricky Gervais and his American 'Office' counterpart Steve Carell find worthy partners to play off against in Ghost Town and Get Smart respectively.

But with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleason hitting the target In Bruges and the ubiquitous Seth Rogen joining forces with James Franco for wacko-bacco adventure Pineapple Express, we're sad to say there's no room for that police caper with Cannon and Ball.
