He went on to play Blofeld in From Russia With Love and Thunderball (although his face was obscured and he was dubbed). Married three times, Shaw died aged 51 of a heart attack at the wheel of his car while driving in Ireland with his wife and young son. He went on to star as Tattoo in Fantasy Island but was sacked after propositioning women and quarrelling with the producers. He made his last appearance in the erotic thriller Two Moon Junction.
