Story:<\/b> Those of you familiar with the claustrophobic original will notice the return of Shauna Macdonald as Sarah for the sequel. \"How so?\" you may ask, given that the last time we saw the lass the monsters were about to get her in the final frames of Neil Marshall's tale of girls going underground. <\/p>

Well the American audience apparently doesn't like sad endings, so the studio cut The Descent at the end of the dream sequence in which Sarah drives off to safety. <\/p>

So, with that in mind, Sarah is somehow convinced to lead another team of adventurous types, to the place where some rather nasty beasties dwell, and inevitably, chaos ensues. <\/p>
