Gallery: Year One

Jack Black and Michael Cera play two accident-prone Paleolithic warriors who strike out from the tribe to discover the forbidden lands "over the mountains". Their adventure introduces them to biblical villain Cain (David Cross), Vinnie Jones' Roman Legion and their final goal - the naughty shenanigans of Sodom (because it's got more whores than Gomorrah). Scripted by the team behind the American Office and directed by Harold "Ghostbusters" Ramis, this broad comedy crams as many gags into its running time as Black does poundage into his skimpy loincloth.
