Like every American actress worth the name, Kebbel kicked off her showbiz career as a contestant in a beauty pageant - Miss Florida Teen.

Earlty appearances included US TV staples CSI and Entourage before she landed the recurring role of Lindsay Forrester in Gilmore Girls.

In 2004 she made her big screen debut in the spoof Soul Plane and landed subsequent roles alongside John Travolta in Be Cool and the horror yarn Reeker.

She memorably played a plotting student journalist in John Tucker Must Die and also starred in the Japanese horror remake The Grudge 2.

In a similar vein, the also appeared in the Korean horror remake The Uninvited alongside Elizabeth Banks and Emily Browning.
