Gallery: Gone Baby Gone

When a four-year-old girl goes missing in a rundown Boston neighbourhood, private 'tecs Kenzie (Casey Affleck) and Angie (Michelle Monaghan) are put on the case. It's felt their local knowledge could help trace the child where the police have failed. However, they discover the trail leads into a seamy maze of drug dealers, paedophiles and dodgy cops. Debut director Ben Affleck, who also co-wrote the script, crafts an absorbing, first-rate thriller which isn't afraid to pose morally ambiguous questions.
