Evelyn Waugh's tale of duplicity and privilege in the upper classes is brought lavishly to the big screen by Becoming Jane and Kinky Boots director Julian Jarrold. Captain Charles Ryder (Matthew Goode), who was stationed at Brideshead Castle during WWII, recalls his involvement with the owners of the estate: the aristocratic yet Catholic Flyte family and, in particular, brother and sister Sebastian (Ben Wishaw) and Julia (Hayley Attwell).
