Actor: Born in Montreal, Canada, Joseph Wiseman enjoyed a long career in the theatre and first attracted attention in the cinema as the bloodless opportunist who became Marlon Brando’s enemy in 1952’s Viva Zapata! Apart from Dr No, other appearances have included Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and TV’s Law & Order. He once said he thought Dr No “might by just another Grade B Charlie Chan mystery."
