The former child model and Transformers star made her feature debut as the school bitch in Disney's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
The youngest of two sisters, she began her training in drama and dance aged five and later moved to Florida to complete her studies.
After embarking on a modelling career at 13 she made her TV movie debut in Holiday in the Sun and went on to star in the US TV series The Help.
She also appeared in Ocean Avenue before landing the role of Carla in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen opposite Lindsay Lohan.
TV work followed including stints on The Help and Hope & Faith before she was cast by Michael Bay in the sci-fi thriller Transformers in 2007.
Fox then appeared in low-budget drama, Whore, and the Simon Pegg comedy How To Lose Friends And Alienate People.
Most recently, Fox reprised her role as Mikaela Baines in the big budget sequel, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.
